Crimped Wire Cup Brushes

Crimped wire cup brushes remove rust, burrs, and weld scale from large metal surfaces. These industrial brushing tools are also great for metal cleaning, edge blending, and surface preparation. A type of power brush, BRM's crimped wire brushes have a 5/8"-11 arbor hole for attachment to grinding tools.

As their name suggests, crimped wire cup brushes feature a cup-style design and crimped wire filaments. Cutting and cleaning occurs at a cup brush's tips, but small pieces of wire can break-off during normal brushing operations. Crimps in the wire help to ensure that these breaks are clean and that sharp new edges are exposed. 

Specify cup brush size in terms of diameter, and choose either carbon steel or stainless as the filament material. Industrial brushes with longer trim lengths are less aggressive, but can reach recessed areas. Brush tools with shorter trim lengths are more aggressive, but less flexible.
