What is Proposition 65?

Yup, the state of California is at it again.  " Proposition 65 requires businesses to provide warnings to Californians about significant exposures to chemicals that cause cancer, birth defects or other reproductive harm. "  What does this mean for BRM customers?  Due to recent regulatory changes in the state of California many of the common products that we use to manufacture contain chemicals known to the state of California to cause cancer and reproductive harm.  

Components used in the manufacturing of materials such as stainless steel, galvanized wire, brass and bronze can be found on the prop 65 list deemed to cause cancer and reproductive harm. As these are some of the most common materials found in industrial brushes today, these require us to provide the warning. A complete list can be found at https://www.p65warnings.ca.gov.
